For this project we had to do the history of ....... I chose the samurai. after a few sketches i realized i wanted the samurai's katana to be the main focus of this piece. i chose a decidedly asian color palate and used both hand rendered images and manipulated photos to create movement and direction within this piece. the kanji symbols located on the upper left mean Bushido and the kanji symbol located middle right means samurai. I think this piece reflects the strenght and beauty associated with the samurai and i am very happy with how this project came out.
