Abraham Lincoln Poster

For this assignment we had to choose a president and make an informational poster about him. I chose Abraham Lincoln. I knew right off that i wanted my design to be simple and straight foward. I started with a few sketches and decided on using the Lincoln monument as a reference, so i sketched up a profile of the Lincoln monument and scanned it into photoshop and worked around it in my design. I wanted there to be a distinctive hand renderd feel to my poster while keeping it sleek and clean. Overall i am happy with my final design.
